Had a unique opportunity to travel to Vietnam, India and Namibia, working with #CreatorsForChange, Vox and the Girls Opportunity Alliance. It stressed the importance of girls all over the globe having access to education.
Jockey
Spent an adventurous month at the Turf Paradise horse racing track in Phoenix filming an independent feature film simply titled, Jockey. Clint Bentley and Greg Kwedar, who had written, directed and produced the award-winning film Transpecos, showed what life is like behind the scenes in the horse racing world. Happy to announce it was recently selected for competition at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival!
Wiggle!
Got to work with some old friends in Crested Butte on a cute short called Wiggle. Gorgeous area, and a fun shoot.
Towel Jacket Towel
This was a rushed little one-off, but I was really impressed with Ben Schwartz’ ability to be sick as a dog and rally through an intense afternoon shoot for Dos Equis.
Proving Tires
Got to spend all day watching cars drive very fast on the Continental Tire proving course near Uvalde.
Bat Signals
Got to return to the awesome Bracken Bat Preserve for American Spring Live. Always a blast to work with Fran (the director of the preserve) and Skip Hobbe, our camera dude.
Easter Egg Hunt
Got to spend an extraordinary Easter actually hunting for hummingbird eggs with an awesome cat named Harold for American Spring Live.
Whine Country
Spent a few days on a doc about the transformation of the Fredericksburg area from peaches and antiques to the wine biz. Got to hang with the founders of William Chris, one of the better establishments who are giving actual Texas wine a good name.
